Your account

An Access account is free. Holding one comes with a few conditions:

• One account per person, for your own use, not to be shared or sold.
• Look after your passkeys and your email. Anyone who can use them can act as you.
• No handle that would be mistaken for another person, a company, or an sz.ws product, and none claimed to resell. Handles that break this are retired.
• Your public display name, bio, and picture must not carry unlawful, harassing, or infringing content.
• You can delete your account from the account page at any time. Accounts that break these rules are closed, and you are told why.

Using the site

Read it, link to it, quote it. Do not scrape at a rate that costs anyone anything, probe endpoints, or try to reach data you were not given. A 429 means stop.

Third-party applications

Products under sz.ws share the Access account directly. Any other app needs your approval before it can read anything through OpenID Connect. What an app does with what it receives is between you and that app. Access can be revoked at any time, but data already handed over cannot be pulled back.

Liability

sz.ws and the account service are provided free, by one person, as they are. They are kept running as well as they can be, with no guarantee of uptime, no guarantee that any particular product stays, and no guarantee that it fits what you need it for. Products can change or close at any time; the ones that have closed are listed at /sunset.

To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of this site or your account.
